Discussion & Documentation:
Mattias Hermann, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and daughter Rosina (age ½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
They are recorded on an appendix of Beauregard recruits to the 1767 census (No. 139) along with a note that they settled in the Volga German colony of Zug in 1768.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Mattias Hermann came from the German village of Mühlbach.

Почему Вы считаете, что Mattias Hermann прибыл в Россию из Mühlbach, Kr. Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg? В оригинале в списках Кульберга записано, что Матиас Германн из Мибах. И. Плеве указал, что это Mühlbach. А в списках первых переселенцев , в оригинале, записано, что Матиас Германн из Форт, я думаю, что это селение Фурт. Известно, что помощник Борегарда, господин Монжу (ю) в 1766 году набрал 5 транспортов, это 400 семей переселенцев из Фурта. Опять же какой Фурт, больше подходит Wörth am Rhein, в тот период он находился под властью Франции. И рядом в 100 км находился городок Muhlbach, Эльзас. Как говорят поспешишь, людей насмешишь. В книге " Вызыватели", А.Идта и Г.Раушенбаха, нашел ответ, что Фурт, это Фюрт под Нюрбергом, так, что вариант с Мюленбахом,Хайльброн- возможен.
