My great-great-grandfather is Johannes Nagel, b. 1854 in Norka. Married Elisabeth Gobel 28 January 1875, probably in Norka. Elisabeth died 16 January 1904.

Seeking confirmation of who Johannes parents are. His stepmother was Elisabeth Luther , 1826-1897. The records I have show this unknown Nagel died in 1883 in Norka, leaving Elisabeth Luther Nagel a widow. Thanks

I have one additional question concerning Philipp Nagel and Christina Kniess's second child listed in the Norka 1957 census: Magdalena Nagel (my great-great-grandfather's sister. She is listed as 1 month old in the 1857 Norka Census. I believe that she was actually born 13 Sep 1856 in Norka; confirmed 1872 in Norka; and married Heinrich Klaus, (from Household No 359 in the 1891-1905 Family List from the Communion Register of Norka. His Father was Georg Klaus. Mother is not listed (only 2nd wife is listed, not Heinrich's mother). Would the Communion List from 1876-1890 confirm this? Thank you again. I am also interested if there were any other children for this marriage (Philipp Nagel and Christina Kniess).

Magdalena Nagel, 16.12.1857 (die Revision 1857 ist in der Colonie Norka am 21.01.1858 stattgefunden), Tochter des Philipp Nagel, heiratet 17.02.1881 Heinrich Stärkel, 19.02.1860 aus der Haushalt №455 (№676 im PB 1891-1905.)
