Tag! Bin auf der Suche nach Informationen über die Großeltern und den Vater meiner Großmutter, Amalia Terre (1938 in Liebental geboren):

Johannes Wittmann (*1876 Ort unbekannt) und Anna Elisabeth ("Annalisbeth") Rohr (*1883 Ort unbekannt, stammt jedoch aus dem Musikantenstrang der Rohrs).

Johannes Wittmann (*1876) und Anna Elisabeth Rohr (*1883) hatten vier Kinder:
Alexander Wittmann (?, verstorben in Trudarmee)
Florian Wittmann (?, verstorben 1942 in Trudarmee)
Piada Wittmann (geboren 1911 in Liebental, Mutter meiner Großmutter, heiratete Johannes Terre (1907 aus Luis, ebenfalls in Trudarmee umgekommen)
Maria Wittmann (geboren 1907 in Liebental)

Die Wittmanns waren katholisch.

Michael Tierry, a farmer, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Chasselois on 2 August 1766.

They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 27. Following the destruction of Chasselois, the Tierry family relocated to the colony of Louis.

In 1786, Peter Tierre moved from Louis to Herzog.

The 1767 census records that Michael Tierry came from the German village of Saarburg in the Trier region.
